Day 29: Burning 

Warrior II / Virabhadrasana II 

From head to toe, I can feel my muscles engaged and working. The Virabhadrasana poses are such powerful stances and require so much energy and focus. For me, Warrior II demands a lot. I could not hold it without shaking up until about a couple months ago. But still, I feel that deep, unquestionable burning sensation throughout my entire body. The feeling of a good challenge.

Day 26 of #freeyogis is #balance. It is challenging for me to balance is most arm balance poses, particularly this one: side crow. You can’t tell by the pic, but I’m totally shaking here. Need to practice more!

Day 25 of #freeyogis is #breathe I always find camel pose to be one where I have to be super conscious of my breathing in order to really sink into the pose

Day 26 of #freeyogis is #balance Our instructor taught us this pose and I loved the way it looked, plus it took some balance to hold it!

Day 27 of #freeyogis is #smile I couldn’t think of a specific pose for this so instead here’s a picture of me smiling :)

[[ I meant to publish this ask but idk if the person wanted it to be so I will credit her if she wants. I thought it was a good question so here is my answer! ]]

Hey girl!

I just use my phone. The new iPhone update has timer now (finally). But I don’t use that because I find that it’s not safe to get into a pose that quickly and hold it (if I am doing something more difficult). I use the app Camera + (there are other apps like this, I think this one is paid, not sure though). I have it on timer for 3 seconds and it will take a pic every 3 seconds until I stop it. It’s perfect cuz I can take my sweet time getting into the pose and I can just delete it later.

I have a little iPhone stand I stole from my dad cuz he doesn’t use it. Before, I would just balance my phone on top of a chair and in between books so it doesn’t fall. Get creative! :D

You can also use a simple point and shoot or any camera. They all have timer features and some even have a burst feature (where it will take multiple pics).
